Focco skeleton

With soft tissue removed, focco skeleton looks strikingly humanoid, but it is mere convergence on base of roughly related starting material. The huge round cranium, the wide srpead of collarbones, sinuous spine, compact pelvis with bone wings, oblique hip bones are all generic adaptations of a brainy, bipedal creature. The differences are less obvious: open eye sockets, forty teeth, a different proportion of vertebrae and ribs, four-toed feet with primary stress placed on second, not first, toe… all these seem minor compared to the general similarity, yet this is what underlies the focco physique, so different from human at the outside glance.
